The PRO-SAFE SLA-A4-22T is a general-purpose protective sleeve constructed from Kevlar fiber, designed to shield the forearm and lower arm from abrasion, cuts, and minor impact hazards during hands-on trade work. At 22 inches in overall length, it provides extended coverage from the wrist to well above the elbow. The sleeve carries an ANSI/ISEA Abrasion Resistance Level 1 rating. Elastic openings at both ends secure the sleeve in place during active use, and a thumb hole keeps the sleeve positioned correctly without slipping. Electricians, HVAC technicians, plumbers, sheet metal workers, and general maintenance professionals commonly reach for this style of sleeve when working in confined spaces, around sharp edges, or inside equipment enclosures.
The SLA-A4-22T is suited for a wide range of trade applications where forearm protection is needed but a full jacket or coat is impractical. Common uses include working inside air handler cabinets, pulling wire through conduit, cutting or handling sheet metal ductwork, and general mechanical work around sharp fasteners or rough surfaces. The universal sizing accommodates most adult arm sizes, making it a practical choice for general shop and field use. The yellow color aids visibility on the job site. It is sold individually and ships as a single unit.
Designed as a general-purpose protective sleeve for trade professionals requiring forearm protection during mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC service work.
Slip the sleeve over the hand and up the forearm, threading the thumb through the thumb hole to anchor the cuff in place. Confirm the elastic ends are seated snugly at the wrist and upper arm before beginning work. Inspect the sleeve for tears, fraying, or worn areas before each use, and retire any sleeve that shows structural damage. Follow the worksite PPE requirements and applicable OSHA personal protective equipment standards when selecting and using arm protection.
