The PRO-SAFE SLA-A1-12N is a Kevlar cut-resistant sleeve designed to protect the forearm and lower arm during work involving sharp edges, metal fabrication, glass handling, and similar hazardous tasks. Constructed from Kevlar fiber, the sleeve provides ANSI/ISEA Abrasion Resistance Level 4 protection while remaining lightweight and flexible enough for extended wear. At 12 inches in overall length, it covers the forearm adequately for most standard applications. Elastic openings at both ends keep the sleeve in place during movement without restricting circulation or dexterity. Licensed tradespeople, shop technicians, and maintenance workers in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general industrial settings commonly use this type of sleeve as supplemental PPE when working around sheet metal ductwork, pipe edges, and conduit.
This sleeve is suited for residential and commercial service work where forearm protection is needed but a full glove is not practical or preferred. Typical applications include sheet metal duct installation, HVAC equipment changeouts involving sharp cabinet edges, plumbing rough-in work near cut pipe ends, and electrical panel work near sharp enclosure edges. The universal sizing and elastic closure design make it easy to pull on and off quickly during a job without removing tools from a belt. The brown and yellow color scheme aids visibility on the job site.
Designed as a universal-fit forearm protection sleeve suitable for general trade and industrial PPE applications where cut and abrasion resistance is required.
This sleeve is donned and removed by hand with no tools required. Inspect the sleeve before each use for fraying, tears, or loss of elasticity that would compromise protection. Follow all applicable OSHA PPE requirements and employer safety programs when selecting and using cut-resistant protective equipment. Replace the sleeve when signs of wear or damage are present.
