The PRO-SAFE PS243-1 is an ANSI Class 2 high visibility safety vest designed for public safety and jobsite personnel who require conspicuity in moderate to high traffic environments. Constructed from a lightweight mesh material, the vest fits chest sizes from 43 to 47 inches, covering Large through X-Large frames. The lime colorway with a single horizontal silver stripe measuring 4 inches in width meets ANSI 107-2010 Class 2, Level 2 certification requirements. Hook and loop closure allows for fast on and off during active work. Licensed tradespeople, traffic control workers, utility crews, and public safety personnel are the primary installers and wearers of this product.
This vest is suited for residential and commercial jobsite use where ANSI Class 2 conspicuity is required by site safety plans or regulatory compliance. Typical applications include road construction, utility maintenance, public works operations, and emergency response staging. The mesh construction makes it appropriate for warmer working conditions where ventilation is a priority. It is packaged individually and ordered in single-unit quantities, making it practical for fleet replenishment or individual issue programs.
Designed as an ANSI Class 2 high visibility vest for use by personnel in traffic control, public works, utility, and general construction environments where Class 2 conspicuity garments are required by OSHA 6 CFR 1926.201 or site safety specifications.
No tools or electrical shutoff are required for donning this vest. Inspect the retroreflective striping and hook and loop closure for wear or contamination before each use, as degraded reflectivity may reduce compliance with ANSI 107-2010 Class 2 standards. Machine wash according to garment care instructions and replace the vest when stripe luminance or background material no longer meets site or regulatory requirements. Safety supervisors or site foremen typically manage issuance and inspection of high visibility garments.
