The PRO-SAFE PS-SA-LN8 is a single-leg, shock absorbing lanyard designed for fall protection in elevated work environments. Built from polyester webbing, this lanyard stretches 6 feet in length and supports a load capacity of 350 pounds. It features a locking snap hook at the harness connection end and a locking rebar snap hook at the anchorage connection end. The integrated shock absorber deploys on a fall event to reduce the peak arrest force transmitted to the worker. This lanyard is installed by safety-trained workers, supervisors, or contractors operating under fall protection programs at heights.

The PS-SA-LN8 is suited for general construction, steel erection, roofing, and other elevated work applications where OSHA-regulated personal fall arrest systems are required. The rebar snap hook anchorage connection makes it a practical choice for concrete reinforcement work and structural steel environments. This lanyard is not rated for arc flash work. Its yellow polyester webbing construction provides visibility on the job site and resistance to common environmental exposure.

Installation Notes

Installation and inspection of fall arrest lanyards must be performed by a competent person as defined under OSHA 29 CFR 1926.502. Before each use, inspect the webbing, snap hooks, and shock absorber pack for cuts, abrasion, chemical damage, or any sign of prior deployment. Always anchor to a certified anchorage point rated for fall arrest loads. A deployed shock absorber indicates the lanyard has arrested a fall and the entire assembly must be removed from service immediately.
