The PRO-SAFE PS-SA-LN6 is a single-leg shock absorbing lanyard designed for use in personal fall arrest systems. Built from polyester webbing, it measures 6 feet in length and carries a 350-pound load capacity. Both the anchorage end and the harness end are fitted with locking snap hooks, providing positive connection at each attachment point. The internal shock-absorbing pack deploys on fall impact to reduce arrest forces transmitted to the worker. This lanyard is intended for installation by safety-trained technicians and qualified riggers working at height on construction, industrial, or maintenance job sites.

The PS-SA-LN6 is suited for single-leg fall arrest applications in general industry and construction environments where workers are operating at elevations requiring a compliant personal fall arrest system. Its 6-foot length accommodates a wide range of overhead anchorage-point configurations. The locking snap hooks at both connection points are compatible with standard D-rings on full-body harnesses and with typical structural anchorage hardware. This lanyard is not rated for arc flash work environments.

Installation Notes

Installation and inspection of fall arrest equipment must be performed by a competent person as defined under OSHA 29 CFR 1926.502 and applicable ANSI Z359 standards. Before each use, inspect the webbing, snap hooks, and shock pack for cuts, burns, chemical damage, or any indication the shock absorber has been deployed. A deployed shock absorber indicates the lanyard has arrested a fall and the unit must be removed from service immediately. Anchorage points must be rated to support the required arrest forces per applicable regulations.
