The PRO-SAFE PS-111789 arc flash flame protection gloves are designed for electricians and electrical maintenance professionals who work in environments with arc flash exposure. Built with a top grain cowhide leather palm and a split cowhide back, these gloves carry a maximum arc flash protection rating of 27 cal/cm2 and are classified as Glove Class 3. The aramid lining adds an additional layer of thermal and cut resistance, achieving an ANSI/ISEA Cut Resistance Level of A4. Sold as a pair in size 2X-Large (Men's Numeric Size 11), these gloves are intended for heavy-duty electrical safety applications where durable, uncoated leather and a slip-on cuff provide reliable protection and ease of use.
These gloves are suited for commercial and industrial electrical work, including switchgear maintenance, panel work, and other tasks requiring arc flash PPE compliance. The slip-on cuff style allows for quick donning and doffing during active service calls. The smooth grip surface on top grain cowhide leather provides adequate dexterity for handling electrical components. Licensed electricians and industrial maintenance technicians working under NFPA 70E arc flash guidelines will find these gloves appropriate for tasks requiring Arc Flash PPE Category 2 or higher protection verification.
Designed as an OEM-style arc flash PPE glove for use in electrical safety programs requiring flame and arc protection at the Class 3 level in accordance with NFPA 70E arc flash PPE requirements.
These gloves should be inspected before each use for cuts, punctures, or thermal damage that may compromise protection. Always de-energize and lock out/tag out equipment per NFPA 70E and OSHA 1910.333 procedures before beginning electrical work whenever possible. When live work is required, verify the arc flash incident energy level of the task matches or falls below the 27 cal/cm2 rating of these gloves. Replace gloves immediately if any damage or degradation is observed.
