The PRO-SAFE PS-1025DUALWS is a reusable, adjustable fabric ESD grounding wrist strap designed to safely dissipate electrostatic discharge from a technician's body during work on sensitive electronic components. Built with a 1 megohm resistor and a dual-conductor design, it provides controlled static bleed-off that protects components from electrostatic damage. The strap adjusts to fit wrist circumferences from 6 inches to 13 inches, making it suitable for a wide range of users. Grounding cord is not included and must be sourced separately. Electricians, electronics technicians, and field service professionals working on low-voltage control boards, variable-frequency drives, and similar ESD-sensitive assemblies rely on wrist straps like this one as a standard precaution.
This strap is suited for bench-level service work, panel assembly, and field repair scenarios where ESD-sensitive components are handled. It is commonly used when servicing HVAC control boards, ECM motor drives, PLCs, and other solid-state electronics. The fabric construction allows extended wear comfort during longer service sessions. Because the grounding cord is sold separately, the strap can be paired with the appropriate cord length and termination type required for each specific workstation or field setup.
Designed as a general-purpose ESD wrist strap compatible with standard grounding cord connectors used at electronics service benches and field service applications involving ESD-sensitive components.
This wrist strap is worn snugly against bare skin on the wrist to ensure proper skin contact for static dissipation. A compatible grounding cord must be attached to connect the strap to a grounded surface or ESD mat before handling any sensitive components. Follow applicable ESD control standards and workplace safety procedures when working on energized or sensitive electronic assemblies. Inspect the strap and resistor connection regularly for signs of wear or damage that could compromise grounding continuity.
