The PRO-SAFE PLX-1524 is a rectangular convex safety mirror designed for indoor traffic and inspection applications. The acrylic lens provides a wide-angle convex view across walkways, aisles, intersections, and blind corners. The fiberboard and hardboard backing gives the mirror structural rigidity while keeping overall weight manageable at 8 pounds. A rubber frame and rubber handle round out the construction, protecting the lens edges and providing a secure grip during repositioning or mounting. This mirror is sized at 26 inches high by 24 inches wide with a depth of 1.75 inches, making it suitable for wall or ceiling mounting in warehouses, retail stockrooms, manufacturing facilities, and parking structures.
The PLX-1524 is intended for indoor use only. It is commonly installed in areas where sightlines are obstructed by shelving, columns, corners, or machinery. Facilities managers, safety coordinators, and maintenance crews typically handle installation. The convex lens expands the field of view beyond what a flat mirror provides, helping personnel and vehicle operators identify pedestrian or forklift traffic before entering an intersection. It is well suited for use in distribution centers, manufacturing plants, retail back-of-house areas, and similar indoor commercial environments.
Designed as a general-purpose indoor convex safety mirror for wall or ceiling mounting in commercial and industrial facilities where traffic visibility and inspection coverage are required.
Installation is typically performed by facilities maintenance staff or a qualified contractor. Mount to a structurally sound wall or ceiling surface using appropriate hardware rated for the mirror weight of 8 pounds. Ensure the mounting surface and any anchors are capable of supporting the load before securing the mirror. Position the mirror at an angle that maximizes the field of view for the intended traffic or inspection zone, and verify sightlines are clear before returning the area to service.
