The PRO-SAFE GB32 is a flame-resistant leather spat designed to protect the foot and lower ankle area during welding, cutting, and other hot-work operations. Constructed with a leather upper, this spat provides a barrier against sparks, spatter, and radiant heat that standard footwear alone does not offer. The universal sizing fits both men's and women's shoes, making it a practical addition to any hot-work PPE kit. It is sold as a single unit and is appropriate for jobsite environments where foot protection from molten material and open flame is required by safety protocol.
This spat is suited for welding shops, fabrication facilities, foundries, and industrial maintenance settings where workers operate near open flames, arc welding equipment, or cutting torches. The gold color aids in visual identification on busy shop floors. Because sizing is universal, it can be fitted over a wide range of work boots and safety shoes without modification, reducing the need to stock multiple sizes.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or direct-use flame-resistant spat compatible with standard work boots and safety shoes in universal sizing for both men and women.
Spats are fitted by welders, fabricators, or industrial workers prior to beginning any hot-work operation. Ensure the spat is secured properly over the boot before starting welding or cutting work. Inspect the leather upper for burn-through, cracking, or structural damage before each use and replace immediately if compromised. Refer to applicable OSHA 1910.132 personal protective equipment standards and your site safety plan for required foot protection specifications.
