The PRO-SAFE BER144 is a petroleum-based, oil-only sorbent roll designed to absorb oils, fuels, lubricants, and other hydrocarbon-based fluids while repelling water. Constructed from white polypropylene, this roll measures 30 inches wide by 150 feet long and delivers a total absorption capacity of 48 gallons. The oil-only design makes it well suited for use around water surfaces, drainage channels, or anywhere separation of oil and water is needed. It is deployed by maintenance technicians, industrial service crews, and environmental compliance personnel during spill response or as a proactive containment measure.
This sorbent roll is appropriate for light to medium spill control in facilities handling petroleum-based fluids, including machine shops, fueling stations, fleet service bays, and marine environments. The roll format allows users to cut or tear sections to fit specific spill areas or drip zones. Its medium absorbency rating suits routine maintenance drips as well as moderate spill incidents. The white coloring provides a visual indicator of saturation, signaling when the material is ready for replacement and disposal in accordance with local hazardous waste regulations.
Designed for use with petroleum-based oils, fuels, lubricants, and other hydrocarbon fluids. Not intended for aqueous-based chemicals, solvents, or aggressive acids and bases. Standard oil-only sorbent roll format compatible with common spill kit dispensers and roll-feed containment systems.
Deploy by unrolling and cutting sections to the required length using utility scissors or a blade. When used in or near active machinery, ensure the area is de-energized or guarded against contact before placing the material. Saturated sorbent rolls may be classified as hazardous waste depending on the fluid absorbed and must be disposed of in compliance with applicable federal, state, and local regulations. Handling of saturated material should include appropriate PPE such as chemical-resistant gloves.
