The PRIME LINE PRODUCTS U 11299 is a 4-pack of plastic shelf support pegs designed to hold and secure shelves in cabinet and shelving applications. Each peg features self-locking tabs that grip 0.5-inch-thick shelves, preventing tipping and rotating once the shelf is seated. The 0.25-inch outside diameter peg body has a 0.3125-inch depth and a serrated stem for a firmer fit in the mounting hole. Finished in clear plastic for low-visibility installation, these pegs are suited for residential cabinetry work and are typically installed by carpenters, cabinet installers, or general contractors during new construction or renovation.
These shelf support pegs are intended for use in standard cabinet shelving systems that accept 0.25-inch peg holes and 0.5-inch-thick shelf stock. Each peg is rated to support a maximum load of 5 pounds, making them appropriate for light-duty shelving in kitchens, bathrooms, offices, or utility spaces. The self-locking tab mechanism adds a retention advantage over standard pin-style pegs where shelf movement is a concern.
Designed for cabinet shelving systems that accept 0.25-inch diameter support peg holes and use 0.5-inch-thick shelf panels.
Insert each peg into the cabinet peg hole until the serrated stem seats firmly. To remove a peg, press and hold the locking tabs inward while rotating the shelf upward — clockwise when lifting from the left side, counter-clockwise when lifting from the right side. No power tools are required, but a second person may be needed to manage shelf movement during removal. Confirm shelf thickness is 0.5 inches before installation; mismatched shelf thickness may prevent the locking tabs from engaging correctly.
