The PRIME LINE PRODUCTS PL 15767 is a plastic screen frame corner designed for repairing or assembling window screen frames. Each corner features an outside miter profile and measures 3/4 inches by 7/16 inches, sized to fit frames with a .020 wall thickness in the same 7/16 inches by 3/4 inches dimension. The part is molded in bronze-colored plastic for a clean, finished appearance. Each tub contains 20 corners, giving screen repair technicians and glaziers enough hardware to complete multiple frames in a single service call.
This corner is intended for residential window screen frame repair and assembly. It fits the standard 7/16 inches by 3/4 inches aluminum or plastic spline-style screen frame profile used in many residential window applications. The outside miter design allows the frame members to meet cleanly at a 90-degree corner without exposed cut ends. Installers working on window screens in single-family homes or multi-unit residential buildings will find this pack practical for batch repairs.
Specified for use with Pella screen frames in the 7/16 inches by 3/4 inches, .020 wall thickness profile.
Screen frame corners are typically installed by window service technicians or glaziers using hand tools. Cut frame members to length at a 45-degree miter, then press each corner firmly into the open ends of the frame stock until fully seated. No fasteners or adhesives are normally required for a proper press-fit installation. Inspect each corner for full engagement before installing the screen mesh and spline.
