The PRIME LINE PRODUCTS P 7568 is a 500-foot roll of round hollow core screen spline used to secure window and door screening material into aluminum or fiberglass screen frames. Made from top-quality vinyl with a serrated exterior, the spline compresses into the frame channel and grips the screen mesh firmly to prevent sagging or pullout. The 5/32-inch (0.155-inch) diameter fits standard spline grooves found on residential and commercial screen frames. Screen and door techs, glaziers, and general contractors use this product during screen installations and replacements.
This spline is suited for new screen installations and re-screening jobs on aluminum and fiberglass framed windows, doors, and patio enclosures. The 500-foot roll length makes it practical for high-volume service work or shop inventory. The black color blends with dark frame finishes and dark mesh materials common in residential and light commercial applications. Sold in packages of 4 rolls, it supports bulk stocking for contractors and distributors.
Designed for use with aluminum and fiberglass screen frames that accept a 5/32-inch (0.155-inch) round hollow core spline groove.
Screen spline installation is typically performed by screen and door technicians or general contractors using a spline roller tool. Lay the screen mesh over the frame, then press the spline into the channel using firm, consistent pressure with the roller to seat it fully without stretching the mesh. Cut spline ends cleanly at frame corners to prevent bunching. No power tools or special certifications are required, but work in a stable temperature environment, as vinyl spline can stiffen in cold conditions and become harder to seat properly.
