The assembly features a 1-1/8-inch diameter concave, grooved steel ball bearing roller that provides smooth, consistent door travel along the track. The C-shaped mounting tab wraps around the corner screw and is captured by the side stile and bottom rail as the screw draws the two components together, creating a secure mechanical fit. This roller is a hardware replacement part installed by glaziers, door and window contractors, or experienced maintenance technicians during patio door servicing or refurbishment.
