Installation Notes

Cabinet knobs of this type are installed by cabinetmakers, finish carpenters, or experienced DIYers using a drill, a 3/16 inch bit for pilot holes, and a screwdriver or nut driver. Power down any adjacent electrical components if working in an area with under-cabinet lighting or integrated wiring. Always drill pilot holes through the cabinet face before driving the mounting bolt to avoid splitting the door or drawer front. Do not overtighten the mounting bolt, as excess torque can crack thinner cabinet materials.
