The PREMISE WIRING SS723 is a single-gang stainless steel wallplate designed for standard duplex or single receptacle installations. Constructed from 302/304 stainless steel with a smooth finish, this stamped straight-blade style plate measures 4.6 inches in length by 2.8 inches wide and 0.035 inches thick. It accommodates one 2.15-inch single receptacle opening with a 2-bolt configuration. The SS723 is rated for temperatures from -40 to 85 degrees C and carries UL and CSA approvals, making it suitable for demanding commercial and industrial electrical installations where durability and corrosion resistance are required.
This wallplate is well suited for commercial, industrial, and institutional settings where corrosion resistance and a clean, professional finish are priorities. Its non-magnetic 302/304 stainless steel construction makes it a practical choice for environments that are exposed to moisture, cleaning agents, or other corrosive conditions. A protective plastic film is applied at the factory to prevent scratching during handling and installation. Designed as an OEM-style replacement or new-installation wallplate for standard 1-gang outlet boxes accepting a single receptacle with a 2.15-inch opening and 2-bolt mounting configuration.
Installation is performed by a licensed electrician following NEC guidelines. De-energize the circuit at the breaker panel and verify absence of voltage before removing an existing wallplate or working near the receptacle. Secure the plate using the included 302/304 stainless steel screws; do not overtighten, as the stamped plate can deform. Remove the protective plastic film after installation is complete to reveal the finished surface.
