At 0.035 inches thick, the plate maintains a low-profile appearance while meeting UL and CSA approval requirements. A protective plastic film is applied at the factory to prevent scratches during handling and installation. The non-magnetic steel construction makes it suitable for environments where magnetic interference is a concern.
