The PREMISE WIRING P050NBKA is a straight male, non-metallic liquidtight conduit connector in a 1/2-inch trade size. The body and locknut are constructed from black nylon, with a neoprene O-ring providing a liquidtight seal at the hub. A non-integral, reusable steel ferrule seals the conduit end. The connector measures 1.3 inches in diameter by 2.14 inches in length and is rated for operating temperatures from -30 to 225 degrees F. It carries UL and CSA approvals. Licensed electricians and electrical contractors install this fitting when terminating flexible non-metallic liquidtight conduit at junction boxes, control panels, and enclosures.
This connector is designed for use on non-metallic liquidtight flexible conduit in residential, commercial, and light industrial electrical installations. It is well suited for applications requiring moisture resistance and mechanical protection at conduit entry points, including HVAC equipment connections, outdoor enclosures, and wet or damp location wiring. The straight male configuration allows direct entry into a threaded hub. The hexagonal nut compresses the gland ring onto the conduit for a secure, weathertight termination.
Designed for use on non-metallic liquidtight flexible conduit with a 1/2-inch trade size. Suitable for standard threaded hubs on electrical enclosures, junction boxes, and control panels accepting 1/2-inch liquidtight connectors.
Installation should be performed by a qualified electrician in accordance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and any applicable local codes. De-energize the circuit and verify the enclosure is powered down before beginning conduit termination work. Hand-tighten the locknut first, then use appropriate pliers or a strap wrench to secure without overtightening the nylon body. Inspect the neoprene O-ring and steel ferrule for proper seating before energizing the system.
