Designed for general-purpose drilling in metal, it features a two-flute right-hand spiral configuration and a straight cylindrical shank. The M2 HSS construction delivers the hardness and heat resistance needed for continuous production drilling in steel, stainless steel, cast iron, superalloys, and titanium. The web-thinned, tapered-web geometry reduces thrust at entry and helps center the bit without a pilot hole.
