The PRECISION SCREEN SECURITY PROD 3950NA2868 is a traditional wood screen door in the Dogwood Series, measuring 32 inches wide by 80.5 inches tall overall. The frame is built from 2.25-inch kiln-dried wood sourced from sustainably managed forests. All joints are sealed with water-resistant adhesive and reinforced with spiral dowels using mortise and tenon fabrication, producing a rigid, weatherworthy assembly. Three internal supporting bars add structural integrity across the door height. The black fiberglass screen cloth is designed to be field-replaceable when damaged. Supplied unfinished, the door accepts paint or stain to match the job site requirement. Hardware is sold separately.
This door is suited for residential entry, side, or rear doorways where a venting screen door is needed. It is reversible for left-hand or right-hand hanging, giving the installer flexibility without requiring a separate hinge-specific unit. The door ships in a package quantity of four units per carton, making it practical for multi-unit residential or light commercial applications. Width is field-adjustable from 32 inches down to 31.25 inches, and height is adjustable from 80.5 inches down to 79.75 inches, allowing the door to be trimmed to fit standard rough openings without special ordering a custom size.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or new-installation wood screen door for standard residential doorway openings nominally 32 inches wide by 80 inches tall.
Installation is typically performed by a finish carpenter or general contractor. Power down any electric door operators or closers before fitting the door into the opening. Hardware including hinges, door closers, and latches are sold separately and must be sourced and installed per the hardware manufacturer instructions and applicable local building codes. Do not cut the frame beyond the stated adjustable range, as excessive trimming may compromise joint integrity.
