Product Description
The PRECISION SC-1000C water hammer arrestor reduces hydraulic shock in plumbing systems. It has a simple design that includes only a piston as the moving part. The barrel is made from Type L hard-drawn copper while the piston is crafted from a composite material with a C69300 low lead brass threaded adapter. This component is lubricated with Dow-Corning silicone compound #111, making it safe for drinking water systems.
This arrestor operates effectively in systems within a pressure range of zero to eighty psig and can manage shock spikes up to four hundred psig. It is constructed without lead. The brass end style enhances its suitability for both residential and commercial plumbing needs. Installation can be done using a standard pipe tee in both new and existing plumbing setups.
