It uses a single free-moving piston with O-ring seals to absorb water hammer and reduce pressure spikes. The unit installs as a 3/8 in. female compression T inline connection, is certified to NSF 61 and ASSE 1010, lead law compliant, and rated to 212 F and 250 psig.
