Product Description

The Potter Electric STN-10 is a ten-foot sampling tube designed for use with the Potter PAD100-DUCT analog addressable duct detector. This component meets local requirements and NFPA standards for duct smoke detectors. The air sampling process utilizes two tubes that extend into the duct for effective air sampling.

The unit includes an exhaust tube at a standard length of seven inches. Depending on the determined duct width, additional air intake sampling tubes can be ordered in various lengths to fit as needed. Options for sampling tube lengths include two and a half feet, five feet, and ten feet, allowing flexibility for various installation scenarios.

Installation of the duct smoke unit is streamlined with a provided template and two sheet metal screws. The installation can be completed without removing the clear cover, which is secured with four capture screws.
