The Potter Electric RTS-O is a room temperature switch designed for commercial and residential use. It complies with NFPA 13 and 72 regulations to protect a dry pipe valve from freezing at temperatures as low as forty degrees Fahrenheit. This normally open detector closes its contact when the temperature dips below forty degrees Fahrenheit. Once the temperature rises above this point, it resets automatically to a normal state.
