The POTTER ELECTRIC SIGNAL CO. US VSR-6 is a waterflow switch designed for installation on 6-inch pipe in wet-pipe fire sprinkler systems. When water flows through the pipe due to a sprinkler head activation or system event, the VSR-6 detects that movement and sends a signal to the fire alarm control panel. This device is a critical component in life-safety systems, providing rapid alarm notification when flow is detected. Licensed fire sprinkler contractors and fire alarm technicians are the primary installers of this type of switch.

The VSR-6 is used in commercial and industrial wet-pipe sprinkler systems where 6-inch main or branch piping is present.
