The POTTER ELECTRIC SIGNAL pad100-mim is a single input monitor module designed for use in addressable fire alarm systems. It occupies one SLC loop address while monitoring one Class B initiating circuit. The module includes a red LED status indicator that flashes during normal polling by the control panel and switches to a rapid flash rate when the monitored input is activated. Licensed fire alarm technicians install this device as part of an addressable signaling line circuit to supervise initiating devices such as pull stations, heat detectors, or waterflow switches.
The pad100-mim is intended for commercial and light industrial fire alarm applications where a compact, single-address monitor module is required. Its micro form factor makes it suitable for installations where panel real estate or enclosure space is limited. It is wired into one Class B circuit, consuming a single SLC address from the panel loop. Installation is typically performed by licensed fire alarm contractors in compliance with NFPA 72 and local AHJ requirements.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or expansion module for addressable fire alarm systems utilizing SLC loop wiring with Class B circuit monitoring requirements.
Installation must be performed by a licensed fire alarm technician in accordance with NFPA 72 and applicable local codes. De-energize the SLC loop and disable the control panel before wiring or replacing this module. Verify the assigned SLC address using the panel programming software before placing the system back in service. Do not exceed the Class B wiring specifications defined by the fire alarm control panel manufacturer.
