The POTTER ELECTRIC SIGNAL CO. US 1000627 is a weatherproof, low-profile pull station designed for agent release fire suppression applications. This manual initiating device activates suppression systems when pulled, sending a signal to the control panel to discharge a suppression agent. Built for installations where exposure to moisture or environmental contaminants is a concern, the weatherproof enclosure protects internal components in demanding conditions. Licensed fire alarm technicians and suppression system contractors are the typical installers. The red finish meets standard color coding requirements for manual pull stations in fire alarm and suppression systems.
This pull station is suited for commercial and light industrial environments where a manual release point is required for gaseous or chemical agent suppression systems. The low-profile form factor allows installation in spaces with limited wall clearance or where a flush, unobtrusive device profile is preferred. Typical applications include server rooms, commercial kitchens, industrial equipment areas, and other spaces protected by clean agent or chemical suppression systems. The weatherproof rating extends usability to semi-outdoor or high-humidity environments such as loading docks and covered mechanical areas.
Designed as an OEM-style manual pull station for agent release fire suppression systems requiring a weatherproof, low-profile initiating device. Consult system documentation and the Potter Electric product data sheet for verified panel and system compatibility before installation.
Installation must be performed by a licensed fire alarm or suppression system contractor in accordance with NFPA 72, NFPA 17, or NFPA 17A as applicable to the protected system. Disable and lock out the suppression system control panel before wiring or replacing the pull station to prevent accidental agent discharge. Verify wiring polarity and end-of-line resistor requirements against the control panel manufacturer specifications. After installation, perform a functional test per the authority having jurisdiction before returning the system to service.
