Product Description

The Potter Electric PAV/1119720 is an automatic float type air vent designed to reduce trapped air in pressurized fire sprinkler systems. This air vent helps protect system piping from corrosion, especially at the air/water interface. It also improves the performance of vane-type waterflow detectors by preventing delays or failures caused by trapped air. The PAV automatically vents air during system filling and vents trapped air over time, closing when water reaches the vent. It features a 1/2" NPT-male connection for safe drainage of any inadvertent water discharge.
