The Potter AFC-50 is an analog/addressable releasing fire alarm control panel with a capacity for fifty addresses. This system is expandable using multi-point SLC modules. The exclusive Potter protocol supports various sensors and modules. Each SLC can include a mix of smoke sensors, heat detectors, or other devices. This flexibility allows compliance with National Electrical Code specifications.

The unit features a five Amp power supply with two Notification Appliance Circuits (NACs) and two Input/Output (I/O) circuits. Each NAC can handle three Amps and the I/Os are rated at one Amp. Each output is power limited and can be configured for different signaling needs. Strobe synchronization is supported across multiple brands.

The NACs can be expanded using PSN-1000 series power supplies, providing additional power and input circuits. The AFC-50 can accommodate up to thirty-one power supplies and ensures synchronized strobe functionality throughout the system. Furthermore, it allows for the installation of expansion cards for increased capacity.
