The PORTALS PLUS 81060 Deck Mate is a pipe flashing assembly designed for metal roof and wall penetration applications. It ships with a stainless steel clamp and fits Schedule 40 pipe ranging from 5 inches to 9 inches in diameter. The stepped profile creates a compression seal directly against the pipe, eliminating the need for caulk as a primary sealer. Reinforcing ribs maintain rigidity and hold product shape under service conditions. The dead soft aluminum flange conforms to irregular roof contours, pitches, and uneven surfaces. Sold in a 10-count pack. Licensed roofing contractors and plumbers working on metal roof systems are the primary installers.
The 81060 Deck Mate is suited for residential and commercial metal roof and wall systems where piping penetrates the roof plane. Typical applications include plumbing vent stacks, exhaust pipes, and similar round penetrations passing through metal panel roofing. The compression seal design and integral stainless steel clamp are intended to deliver a long-term watertight seal without reliance on caulk. The National Roofing Contractor Association notes in their better roofing practices that caulk should not be used as a primary sealer of a roof penetration, and this product is engineered to meet that standard.
Designed for use with Schedule 40 piping on metal roof and wall systems requiring pipe penetration flashings in the 5-inch to 9-inch diameter range.
Installation is typically performed by licensed roofing contractors or plumbers working on metal panel roof systems. Shut down any active systems tied to the penetrating pipe before beginning work. Seat the stepped flashing body over the pipe, conform the aluminum flange to the roof surface, and tighten the included stainless steel clamp to secure the compression seal. Follow applicable local building codes and manufacturer roofing specifications when fastening the flange to the metal roof panel.
