The PIP 7050B/M is a flame-resistant welding jacket designed for gas welding operations and other high-heat work environments. Constructed from 9.00 oz sateen cotton, the jacket provides reliable FR protection in a unisex fit sized for medium builds. A black pop-up welders collar with snap closure shields the neck from sparks and spatter. Snap front closure allows quick on and off in a busy shop or field environment. This jacket is worn by welders, pipefitters, and fabricators who require ASTM D6413-compliant FR outerwear during daily welding tasks.
The 7050B/M suits residential and commercial welding applications, including gas welding scenarios where flash and spark exposure is routine. The unisex sizing and medium cut make it a common stock item for shops outfitting multiple technicians. A scribe and soapstone pocket on the left sleeve keeps marking tools accessible without requiring the welder to reach for a separate pouch. With a 23.5-inch chest measurement and 24.75-inch sleeve length, the fit accommodates a standard medium frame with full range of arm motion during overhead and positional welding work.
Designed as an OEM-style FR welding jacket suitable for gas welding applications requiring ASTM D6413-compliant flame-resistant outerwear in a medium unisex fit.
This garment is worn PPE and does not require mechanical installation. Inspect the jacket before each use for burns, tears, or compromised snap closures that could reduce protection. Follow the manufacturer laundering instructions to maintain FR properties over the life of the garment. Do not modify or alter the jacket in any way that could reduce its flame-resistant performance.
