The PIP 6244/L is a TIG welding glove designed for professionals who need precise hand control without sacrificing protection. Constructed from top-grain, premium-grade grain goatskin leather, this glove delivers a smooth grip surface and a lightweight feel that suits the detailed, close-range work TIG welding demands. The palm and back assembly pairs goatskin leather with a TPR back panel, while an aramid blend lining adds thermal and cut protection from the inside out. Kevlar stitching throughout extends durability under repeated heat exposure. An extended gauntlet cuff with a split leather construction shields the wrist and forearm from spatter and radiant heat. Sold as a pair in size Large, which also fits women's X-Large.
This glove is built for TIG welding applications across steel mills, shipyards, manufacturing facilities, automotive shops, and torch work environments. The straight thumb design supports natural hand positioning during torch manipulation. The smooth grip surface allows the welder to feel and guide the filler rod with accuracy. The gauntlet cuff style provides forearm coverage in environments where prolonged heat exposure or incidental contact with hot metal is common. This is a professional-grade glove suited for both production and maintenance welding roles.
Designed for TIG welding applications in steel mills, shipyards, manufacturing, automotive, and torch work environments. Fits men's Large and women's X-Large hand sizes.
These gloves are donned and inspected by the welder before beginning any welding operation. Inspect for cuts, worn seams, or leather damage before each use and remove from service if the lining or stitching is compromised. Follow applicable OSHA 1910.138 personal protective equipment selection requirements for welding environments. Do not use these gloves as a substitute for appropriate fire-resistant clothing when working in high-radiant-heat environments.
