The PIP 6144/XS is a kidskin leather TIG welding glove designed for precision welding applications where dexterity and heat protection are both critical. Constructed from top-grain kidskin leather with a gunn-cut back pattern and a keystone thumb, this glove provides a close, responsive fit suited to TIG welding tasks that demand fine motor control. The gauntlet-style cuff extends the overall length to 14 inches, with a 4-inch cuff length providing added forearm coverage. A para-aramid lining reinforces cut and puncture resistance, meeting ANSI/ISEA Cut Resistance Level A4 and ANSI/ISEA Puncture Level 3. Licensed HVAC, welding, and fabrication tradespeople will find this glove appropriate for sustained arc work and grinding tasks.
This glove is rated for TIG welding and grinding applications and is suited to both light fabrication and production welding environments. The uncoated kidskin palm and full-fingered design allow operators to maintain electrode control and manipulate filler rod without sacrificing protection. The cowhide gauntlet cuff adds durability at the wrist and forearm contact zone. Sold as a pair in size X-Small, which corresponds to a men's size X-Large per the manufacturer's sizing chart.
Designed for TIG welding and grinding applications requiring ANSI/ISEA A4 cut resistance and Puncture Level 3 protection in a full-fingered gauntlet-style leather glove.
These gloves are installed and fitted by the end user prior to beginning welding or grinding operations. Inspect gloves before each use for cuts, burns, or deterioration of the leather or lining. Welding work should comply with applicable OSHA 29 CFR 1910.252 or 1926.351 standards for personal protective equipment. Do not use gloves that show visible damage to the palm, thumb, or cuff seams.
