The PIP 267-HPF510C is a corded, disposable foam earplug rated at 32 decibels Noise Reduction Rating (NRR), designed for use in high-noise industrial, construction, and manufacturing environments. The T-shaped polyurethane plug uses a roll-down insertion method, compressing for a snug, low-pressure fit in the ear canal. The attached black PVC cord keeps the pair together during intermittent-use applications where earplugs are frequently removed and reinserted. Each pack contains 100 plugs in universal sizing. This product meets ANSI S3.19-1974 hearing protection standards and is installed by safety officers, site supervisors, or workers as part of a hearing conservation program.
These earplugs are suited for residential and commercial job sites, fabrication shops, engine rooms, and any setting where noise levels require hearing protection. The universal fit accommodates most ear canal sizes. The roll-down method requires no tools and allows quick self-fitting. The orange plug color provides basic visibility for compliance checks. The corded design is particularly practical in environments where dropped or lost earplugs are a concern, such as food processing or open-grate flooring areas.
Designed as a universal-fit disposable corded earplug for standard hearing conservation programs in industrial, construction, and general occupational settings. No equipment-specific fitment applies to this product type.
Earplugs should be fitted by rolling the foam plug tightly between clean fingers, then inserting while pulling the outer ear upward and back to straighten the ear canal. Hold the plug in place for several seconds while the foam expands to form a seal. Proper fit is essential to achieving the rated NRR value — an improperly seated plug will significantly reduce attenuation. Dispose of earplugs when soiled, damaged, or after the plug no longer expands to form a firm seal.
