The PIP 20-d16 is a single-ply cut resistant sleeve constructed from Dyneema Diamond fiber in a claw cover configuration. Designed to protect the arm and forearm from lacerations and cuts, it is intended for workers who handle large, sharp, or abrasive objects during daily operations. The sleeve measures 16 inches in length and is finished in white, making it easy to inspect for contamination. It is lightweight and slip-on by design, allowing quick donning and removal without interrupting workflow. HVAC, plumbing, and electrical trades, as well as light industrial workers, rely on cut resistant sleeves as a standard piece of PPE when working around sheet metal edges, glass, or exposed conductors.
The 20-d16 is suited for environments where arm protection is required but full-glove coverage alone is insufficient. Typical applications include food processing facilities, electronics manufacturing lines, glass cutting operations, and paper processing environments. Its reach-application design makes it practical for workers who must extend their arms into confined or obstructed spaces where contact with sharp edges is likely. The white finish is standard for food-safe and cleanroom-adjacent environments where color coding and contamination visibility matter.
Designed as an OEM-style cut resistant sleeve for use across light industrial and trade applications where forearm protection from sharp objects, edges, or abrasive materials is required.
Cut resistant sleeves are donned as personal protective equipment and do not require tools or fasteners. Inspect the sleeve before each use for tears, fraying, or contamination that could compromise cut resistance. Follow your facility or employer PPE program guidelines for inspection intervals and replacement criteria. Launder according to manufacturer recommendations to maintain fiber integrity.
