The PIP 16-X585/L is a cut-resistant work glove designed for trade and industrial applications where hand protection against sharp edges, abrasion, and material handling hazards is required. Built on a 13-gauge Polykor Xrystal seamless shell, the glove achieves an ANSI/ISEA Cut Resistance Level A5 rating and an ANSI/ISEA Abrasion Resistance Level 3. The palm and fingers are dip-coated with NeoFoam, delivering a secure grip in dry conditions while maintaining flexibility and breathability. This glove is sized Large for men and Medium for women, and it is sold as a pair. Licensed tradespeople, general contractors, and industrial workers who handle sheet metal, glass, or other cut-hazard materials are the primary installers and users of this glove.
The 16-X585/L is suited for residential and commercial job sites where ANSI A5 cut protection is specified by a safety program or job-site requirement. Typical applications include HVAC sheet metal work, electrical conduit handling, pipe fitting, and general fabrication tasks. The NeoFoam palm coating supports touchscreen-compatible use on the palm, reducing the need to remove the glove when operating a touchscreen device. The seamless knit construction reduces interior seam pressure points, making extended-wear shifts more comfortable for field technicians.
Designed as an OEM-style cut-resistant hand protection solution for trade professionals requiring ANSI Cut A5 compliance in general-purpose industrial and construction environments.
Inspect gloves before each use for tears, punctures, or coating separation that would reduce cut protection. Replace immediately if the shell or coating shows visible damage. Gloves should be matched to the correct hand size to maintain dexterity and protection performance. Consult the applicable site safety program or ANSI/ISEA 105 guidelines when selecting cut-level requirements for a specific task.
