The PIP 16-328/XS is a cut and puncture resistant work glove designed for trade and industrial applications where hand protection against sharp edges, abrasion, and puncture hazards is required. The shell is constructed from PolyKor with an HPPE blend back, and the palm and fingers are coated in nitrile for grip and added cut resistance. This glove meets ANSI/ISEA cut resistance level 2, puncture resistance level 2, and abrasion resistance level 2. It is sold as a pair and sized extra small. HVAC technicians, electricians, plumbers, and sheet metal workers commonly keep this style of glove on hand for daily cut hazard tasks.
This glove is suited for light to medium-duty trade work involving sheet metal handling, conduit work, pipe fitting, and general mechanical maintenance. The nitrile coating on the palm and fingers improves grip on smooth and oily surfaces without sacrificing dexterity. The gray colorway is standard for job site use. At 0.06 pounds per pair, it is lightweight enough for extended wear. It is appropriate for residential and commercial service environments where dexterity and cut protection must be balanced.
Designed as a standard cut and puncture resistant work glove for trade professionals requiring ANSI/ISEA level 2 protection in light to medium-duty mechanical and construction service work.
Inspect gloves before each use for cuts, tears, or coating separation that would reduce protection. Replace immediately if the shell or coating is compromised. These gloves do not provide electrical arc flash or high-voltage insulation protection and should not be used as primary protection for energized electrical work. Proper PPE selection should follow applicable OSHA and ANSI/ISEA standards for the specific hazard present.
