The PIP 10-KS18S is a single-ply Kevlar cut protection sleeve designed to guard the forearm and lower arm during tasks that involve sharp edges, blades, or abrasive materials. Constructed from Kevlar fiber, the sleeve provides lightweight cut resistance without the bulk of heavier multi-ply designs. At 18 inches in length, it offers extended coverage from the wrist up the forearm, making it well-suited for industrial, manufacturing, and food processing environments where sleeve-length protection is required. Licensed tradespeople and safety managers specify sleeves like this as a complement to cut-resistant gloves on jobs where cut hazards extend beyond the hand.
This sleeve is intended for use in applications where workers handle sheet metal, glass, stamped parts, or other materials with cut or abrasion hazards. It is commonly worn in fabrication shops, assembly lines, meat and poultry processing facilities, and glass handling operations. The single-ply Kevlar construction keeps the sleeve breathable and low-profile, which reduces heat buildup during extended wear. It is sold individually and is available in case quantities of 144 units, making it practical for facility-wide PPE programs.
Designed as an OEM-style cut protection sleeve for use as a standalone forearm guard or in combination with cut-resistant gloves in industrial and food processing PPE programs.
Sleeves should be inspected before each use for cuts, fraying, or compromised fibers that reduce cut resistance. Follow the facility safety officer or site PPE policy for required use conditions and replacement intervals. Launder according to the manufacturer care instructions to maintain fiber integrity. Discard and replace any sleeve that shows visible damage to the Kevlar material.
