The PIP 10-KS18 is a two-ply Kevlar cut protection sleeve designed to shield the forearm and lower arm from lacerations, abrasions, and slash hazards encountered in industrial and manufacturing environments. Constructed with two layers of Kevlar fiber, the sleeve provides increased cut resistance compared to single-ply designs without sacrificing the flexibility required for hands-on trade work. At 18 inches in length, it covers from the wrist to well above the elbow, making it suitable for tasks where extended arm protection is needed. Each sleeve weighs approximately 0.08 pounds, keeping it lightweight for extended wear during a shift.
The 10-KS18 sleeve is used in applications where workers handle sharp-edged materials, sheet metal, glass, bladed tools, or other cut hazards. Typical installation and use scenarios include metal fabrication shops, glass handling operations, automotive assembly, and general industrial environments where cut risk to the forearm is present. It is worn directly over the arm and may be used in conjunction with cut-resistant gloves for full hand-and-arm protection coverage.
Designed as a general-purpose cut protection sleeve for industrial and manufacturing workers requiring forearm protection in high-cut-risk environments.
Kevlar sleeves require no tools to don and are worn directly over the bare arm or over a base layer. Inspect each sleeve before use for fraying, thinning, or compromised seams that could reduce cut protection. Replace sleeves when wear or damage is visible. Follow your facility safety program and applicable ANSI cut protection standards when selecting and deploying arm protection.
