The PIP 10-K4622 is a single-ply cut-resistant sleeve constructed from a 60% FR viscose and 40% Kevlar interlock blend. Measuring 22 inches in length, it is designed to protect the forearm and lower arm in environments where laceration and heat exposure are primary hazards. The sleeve includes a thumb hole for secure positioning and features a blue and gold elastic bicep stay-up band to keep the sleeve in place during active use. At 0.08 pounds per unit, it is lightweight enough for extended wear shifts. Installation is performed by the end user or safety manager as part of a PPE program.
This sleeve is suited for industrial and manufacturing environments where workers handle sharp materials, glass, sheet metal, or other laceration hazards. The FR viscose component provides a degree of flame resistance alongside the cut protection offered by the Kevlar construction. It is appropriate for use in fabrication shops, assembly lines, recycling operations, and similar trade settings where arm protection is required by site safety protocols.
Designed as an OEM-style cut-resistant sleeve for use in industrial PPE programs requiring arm protection against laceration and limited heat exposure hazards.
This sleeve is donned by the worker and does not require tools or trade installation. Safety managers should verify that the sleeve meets the applicable ANSI or site-specific cut-resistance level required for the task. Inspect the sleeve for wear, fraying, or degradation before each use and replace when protective integrity is compromised. Do not modify the sleeve or remove the elastic stay-up band.
