The PIP 09-K1444/XL is a cut-resistant work glove built for trade and industrial environments where hand protection from sharp edges, sheet metal, and abrasive materials is a daily requirement. Constructed from a 10-gauge seamless Kevlar liner, this glove meets ANSI/ISEA Cut Resistance Level A4 and carries an EN 388 rating of 3X43D. The palm and fingers are dip-coated in latex with a microfinish grip surface, providing reliable grip on wet and dry workpieces. A slip-on knit cuff with a gray finish rounds out the design. Licensed tradespeople including HVAC technicians, electricians, and sheet metal workers commonly reach for this style of glove during rough-in and mechanical work where cut hazards are present.
These gloves are sized for XL male hands or large female hands and are sold as a pair. The yellow Kevlar shell with latex palm coating is a widely recognized configuration across construction, maintenance, and light fabrication applications. The seamless lining reduces pressure points during extended wear, making the glove suitable for repetitive handling tasks on job sites and in light manufacturing settings. The EN 388 standard rating confirms tested performance for cut, abrasion, and puncture resistance under European norms in addition to the ANSI/ISEA classification.
Designed as a general-purpose cut-resistant glove for trade, construction, and light industrial applications requiring ANSI A4 cut protection with palm and finger latex coating.
Inspect gloves before each use for tears, coating separation, or degraded Kevlar fibers. Latex-coated gloves are not suitable for use near open flame or high-heat surfaces. Replace gloves when cut resistance or coating integrity is visibly compromised. These gloves do not provide electrical arc flash or high-voltage insulation protection and are not a substitute for rated electrical insulating gloves.
