The PFERD 47801314 is a mounted flap wheel designed for surface finishing, blending, and deburring on a wide range of metals. It measures 1.5 inches in diameter with a 1 inch face width and runs on a 0.25 inch shank. The abrasive is 60 grit aluminum oxide on a cloth backing, rated for up to 25,000 RPM. The medium-grade cut makes it well suited for controlled material removal and edge work on both ferrous and non-ferrous workpieces. It mounts directly to a straight grinder and is sold individually.

This flap wheel is intended for use with a straight grinder in both shop and field settings. The aluminum oxide abrasive and cloth backing handle a broad material range including stainless steel, steel, cast steel, heat treatable steel, nodular cast iron, annealed cast iron, cobalt based alloy, nickel base alloy, titanium, aluminum, brass, bronze, copper, and other non-ferrous metals.
