The PFERD 42740004 is a 1-1/2 inch diameter quick-change abrasive disc designed for coated diamond grinding and finishing applications. It uses a Type S attaching system for fast disc swaps on compatible inline and angle tools. The disc runs at a maximum of 10,000 RPM and carries a 60 grit, Grade D251 diamond abrasive on a fiber backing. It is suited for precision material removal on hard or brittle surfaces where conventional abrasives wear quickly. Trades working with carbide, ceramic tile, glass, stone, or hardened alloys will find this disc appropriate for controlled stock removal and surface prep work.

This disc is used in light-duty grinding, blending, and finishing tasks on hard materials.
