The PENTAIR 1700C is a 5-roller spray pump designed for demanding fluid transfer and spray applications in commercial and industrial settings. Built with a cast iron housing and cast iron roller material, this pump delivers a maximum flow rate of 45 GPM at up to 1000 RPM and a maximum working pressure of 200 psi. The 3/4-inch FPT inlet and outlet connections use NPT thread for straightforward integration into existing piping systems. A Viton lip seal protects the 416 stainless steel shaft from fluid ingress and wear. Licensed HVAC and plumbing technicians as well as irrigation and spray system professionals are the primary installers of this unit.
The 1700C is suited for roller spray systems used in agricultural, industrial, and commercial fluid delivery applications where consistent pressure and moderate flow rates are required. Its cast iron construction makes it appropriate for environments where durability under continuous or heavy-duty cycling is a priority. The FPT x FPT end connections allow direct in-line installation in standard NPT-threaded piping assemblies. This is a pump-only unit and does not include a motor or drive components.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or new-installation roller pump for commercial and industrial spray systems requiring 3/4-inch NPT in-line connections and up to 200 psi working pressure.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumbing or mechanical contractor familiar with roller pump assemblies and applicable IPC or local mechanical codes. Shut off the fluid supply and depressurize the system completely before removing or installing the pump. This unit requires a separately sourced motor and drive; verify that the selected motor does not exceed the 1000 RPM maximum shaft speed. Use thread sealant rated for the application fluid on all NPT connections and check for leaks at operating pressure before returning the system to service.
