The PEERLESS BOILERS 106010 is a cast iron, natural gas-fired hot water boiler rated at 175,000 BTU/h input, delivering 84% AFUE efficiency. Packaged with spark ignition, a vent damper, and a circulator pump, this unit arrives ready for installation without the need to source those components separately. It is designed for hydronic heating systems in residential and light commercial applications. Licensed HVAC technicians and plumbers are the primary trade professionals who specify, install, and service this type of equipment.
This boiler is suited for forced hot water heating systems where a high-input, cast iron heat exchanger is required for durability and long service life. The 84% AFUE rating makes it a viable replacement unit in existing hydronic systems. The included vent damper improves efficiency by reducing standby heat loss, and the factory-packaged circulator pump simplifies the rough-in process. Typical installations include residential baseboard or radiator systems as well as small commercial hydronic loops.
Designed as an OEM-style packaged replacement or new-installation cast iron hot water boiler for natural gas hydronic heating systems. Corresponds to manufacturer model MI-E-06-SPRK-WPC-NG.
Installation must be performed by a licensed HVAC technician or plumber in accordance with local codes, the International Fuel Gas Code (IFGC), and the manufacturer installation instructions. Shut off the gas supply and disconnect electrical power before beginning any work on an existing system. The vent damper and circulator pump are factory-packaged but must be field-connected and wired per the wiring diagram included with the unit. Do not operate the boiler without verifying proper flue venting, gas pressure, and system fill and purge procedures.
