The PDM US gbw.un383412050b is a 40-foot pre-insulated copper line set designed for split-system air conditioning and heat pump installations. It includes a 3/8-inch OD liquid line and a 3/4-inch OD suction line, both manufactured from Cu29BA patent-pending anticorrosion copper that resists formicary and pitting corrosion. The suction line features 1/2-inch polyethylene foam insulation with an additional white polyethylene outer jacket to protect the foam during installation. Foot markings are printed on the insulation at every foot to aid accurate initial refrigerant charging and minimize copper waste. Licensed HVAC technicians install this line set as part of a split-system refrigerant circuit.
This line set is rated for use with R-410A and other high-pressure refrigerant applications. The black insulation finish is paintable, allowing the line set to blend with exterior surfaces or building finishes. It is suited for residential and light commercial split-system installations where a factory-measured, pre-insulated line set simplifies the refrigerant circuit run between the indoor air handler and the outdoor condensing unit. The domestic origin and UL listing support code-compliant installations across most jurisdictions.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or new-installation line set for residential and light commercial split-system air conditioning and heat pump systems using high-pressure refrigerants such as R-410A.
Installation should be performed by a licensed HVAC technician in accordance with local mechanical codes and the system manufacturer guidelines. Recover all refrigerant and shut down system power before disconnecting or replacing any existing line set. Avoid kinking the copper lines during routing, and support the line set at regular intervals per applicable code requirements. Use the foot markings on the insulation to confirm line length and minimize excess copper before brazing connections.
