The PAYNE ph7tan42400a is a 2-ton, 2-stage residential heat pump condensing unit rated at 17 SEER2 and 8.1 HSPF2. It operates on R-410A refrigerant and runs on a 208-230 VAC single-phase, 60 Hz power supply. The unit delivers 24,000 BTU/h of both cooling and heating capacity through a scroll compressor paired with a PSC condenser fan motor. Liquid and suction line connections are sweat or braze fittings. Licensed HVAC technicians handle installation and commissioning of this type of equipment.

This condensing unit is designed for residential split-system heat pump applications. It is intended for outdoor installation as the condensing section of a ducted system. Installation Notes

Disconnect and lock out all electrical power before servicing or connecting line sets. Liquid line OD is 3/8 inches and suction line OD is 3/4 inches; use sweat or braze connections only. Maximum overcurrent protection is 25 amps and rated load amps are 10.9 — verify that the disconnect and branch circuit wiring meet NEC requirements for the installation.
