Payne LH680534 is a furnace flame sensor rod that detects burner flame presence and signals the furnace control board to shut the gas valve if no flame is detected. It functions as a hot surface ignition electrode with a two-piece design for installation flexibility and cross-references to Carrier and Bryant part numbers. The sensor is compatible with Carrier LH33ZS004 igniters and multiple Carrier, Bryant, Payne, and Day and Night furnace models, addressing ignition and flame-sensing faults.
