The PASS SEYMOUR TM826USBNICCV4 is a combination USB charger and tamper-resistant duplex receptacle designed for residential and light commercial electrical installations. It provides two 5V DC USB Type A ports rated at 2.1A combined, allowing direct charging of mobile devices without a wall adapter. The 15-amp duplex outlet meets standard load requirements, and the compact design accepts standard decorator-style wall plates. A patented shutter system blocks improper insertion of foreign objects into the outlet slots, satisfying tamper-resistant receptacle requirements under the 2011 National Electrical Code. Licensed electricians install this device in new construction and retrofit applications.

This device installs in place of any standard duplex receptacle and fits existing single-gang wall boxes. Back and side wire terminals provide wiring flexibility for various installation scenarios. Installation Notes

Installation must be performed by a licensed electrician in accordance with the National Electrical Code and applicable local codes. Shut off the circuit breaker controlling the outlet before beginning work and verify the circuit is de-energized with a non-contact voltage tester. Back and side wire terminals allow for either back-wire or side-screw termination. Wall plate is sold separately and is required to complete the installation.
