The PASS SEYMOUR CS15AC3ICC8 is a commercial-specification-grade, 3-way toggle switch rated at 15 amps and 120/277 volts, suitable for controlling lighting circuits from two locations. Built with high-impact-resistant thermoplastic construction, it delivers reliable performance in commercial and light industrial environments. The switch is grounded, finished in ivory, and has been tested to 25,000 on/off cycles, meeting the durability demands of high-use installations. Licensed electricians install this switch as part of standard branch-circuit wiring in office buildings, retail spaces, corridors, and similar facilities where specification-grade hardware is required or specified by code.
This switch is intended for commercial and specification-grade electrical installations operating on 120-volt or 277-volt single-phase circuits, the latter being common in fluorescent and LED lighting systems fed directly from a 480Y/277-volt distribution panel. The package contains 8 switches, making it practical for contractors stocking out a project. Side-wire termination accepts 14 through 10 AWG stranded or solid copper conductors, accommodating typical branch-circuit wire gauges without adapters or special tooling.
Designed as an OEM-style specification-grade replacement or new-installation 3-way toggle switch for commercial branch-circuit lighting applications rated at 15A and 120/277V.
Installation must be performed by a licensed electrician in accordance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and applicable local codes. Always de-energize the circuit at the breaker and verify absence of voltage with a meter before wiring. For a 3-way switch installation, ensure the traveler conductors and common conductor are correctly identified before terminating. Secure all conductors fully into the side-wire terminals and verify grounding continuity before closing the box.
